Maëva Le Roux
Illustrator and muralist
I tell the stories of tropical nature and cultures, for publishers, museums, institutions and weddings.
-
I am a French-Indonesian illustrator and muralist.
-
I paint tropical nature and the cultures that live alongside it, from botanical posters to large-scale murals.
-
I work from anywhere, in traditional media or digital, with publishers, institutions and couples around the world.

Illustration inspired by nature for books, exhibitions, posters and educational projects. Clear, colourful and carefully researched, delivered as digital files or original artwork.
Murals
Site-specific murals for schools, public spaces and venues, built around local nature and stories.
Weddings
Hand-painted invitations and stationery inspired by tropical landscapes and the cultures of the couple. Designed from anywhere, printed and shipped worldwide.
A mural about the evolution of life for a preschool in Conflans
A public commission by the City of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine — painted alongside teachers and students of École Maternelle du Long Chemin.
Commissioned by City of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine , this mural brings a variety of prehistoric species to the streets. I worked with preschool students and the teaching staff to co-create the project, turning the history of natural evolution into a living educational wall for the kids, their parents and the passerby.
Mural Chez Khady'Ja
Mural Chez Khady'Ja
“ Maeva sent me a first sketch of my future mural, and I was already very moved because, even without any prior discussion about my birthplace in Casablanca, this mural had already worked its magic before it was even painted on the wall of my restaurant! Dozens of customers visited the restaurant to see the mural before tasting the delicious food on offer. Yes, everything was magnified by the atmosphere created by this almost lifelike mural. It communicates and tells a story, the story of a birthplace, a place of life in all its simplicity and authenticity! ”
